Cement

Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC)
  • Available in grades 33, 43, and 53 (based on compressive strength in MPa).
  • Uses: Residential, commercial construction, plastering, etc.
Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC)
  • More durable and resistant to chemical attacks.
  • Uses: Dams, marine structures, sewage works.
  •
Rapid Hardening Cement
  • Used for speedy construction or when early strength is needed.
  • Uses: Road repairs, precast structures.

Oil Well Cement
  • Designed for use in oil and gas wells under high pressure and temperature.
White Cement
  • Similar to OPC but made from raw materials with low iron oxide content.
  • Uses: Decorative works, tile grouting, architectural finishes.

Low Heat Cement
  • Produces less heat during setting – used in mass concrete pours (dams, large footings).
  • Minimizes risk of cracking.

Sulphate Resisting Cement
  • Used in areas with high sulphate content in soil or water.
  • Prevents chemical deterioration in concrete.

Hydrophobic Cement
  • Treated to repel water during storage.
  • Suitable for long-distance transport or damp climates.

Quick Setting Cement
  • Sets faster than OPC but has normal strength.
  • Uses: Underwater construction, cold or rainy areas.
